Hello, if you're reading this guide, it's because you need to add an image to your server. Today, I'll help you modify your server files to help you achieve this. I'll show you how to upload the image to your server and how to rename it.
To begin, we need to choose an image that you like or that you've created. Remember that this image will appear in the server list.
In order for the image to appear in the server list, we'll need to make some changes to it. Without these changes, the image won't appear correctly.
For the image to display correctly in the server list, we'll need to resize it to 64x64 pixels . Below are the steps to resize the image:
Enter the page .
Click the 'Select Images' button .
Select the image you want to resize.
Once the image is loaded, a menu will appear on the right side of the screen.
In that menu, adjust both the width and height of the image so that they are both 64 .
Note : If your image isn't square, remember to press Maintain aspect ratio . Once you have your image at the ideal size, you can resize it and then download it to get your final image.
With the image ready , you just need to add it to your server . This will be the final step .
First , you'll need to upload the image to your server . You have two options for doing this:
Drag and Drop : Upload the image directly from your computer by dragging it into the files panel.
“Upload File” Button : Use the button provided by your host to select and upload your image.
Note : To upload the image, make sure to do so in the main files folder . Avoid uploading it in folders like "Plugins" or others. It's important that the image is in the main folder .
Once you've uploaded the image, don't forget to rename it to server-icon. This way, the image should look like server-icon.png.
Without renaming it:
Renamed:
Resize the image to 64x64 pixels . This will allow it to appear correctly in the server list.
Upload the resized image to the server files.
Rename it to “server-icon” . This way, the file should be called “server-icon.png” .
If everything went well, the image should appear on your server .
